Finland: A shift in the timber market, prices mostly declining
The purchase volume shrank to 830,000 cubic meters last week, according to statistics from the Finnish Forest Industries Federation (Metsäteollisuus ry). Timber trade slowed down last week. The Finnish Forest Industries Federation's member companies bought a total of nearly 830,000 cubic meters of wood, which is almost 160,000 cubic meters less than the previous week. However, the purchase volume rose by about 280,000 cubic meters compared to last year.
