The mood in the German wood industry brightened in March 2024, just in time for the start of spring. Companies were more satisfied with the current business situation than in the previous month and were more optimistic about the coming half-year. The assessment of the current situation rose significantly to -20 points in March (previous month: -29.1 points). The outlook for the next 6 months also improved significantly, the current value is -29.7 points (previous month: -42.1 points).
