The prolonged weak and uncertain market situation has led to Stora Enso preparing a new profitability program, which may lead to a reduction of up to a thousand employees in different countries. The goal of the program is to increase operating income by 80 million euros per year. The change negotiations will start as soon as possible as the country-specific plans become more detailed.
