Wood prices are still surprisingly high in Finland. The wood market will continue to be tight, and the new EU regulation worries industry players. The Finnish forest industry is doing badly as the prices of wood have not really relaxed. "In this economic cycle, wood prices have not reacted downward in the normal way," says OP portfolio manager Tapio Tilli.
