Södra posts lower result; expects challenging markets ahead
Södra posted a lower result for the second quarter of 2023. The result reflects the weakened market conditions for Södra’s core products. "We are facing a weaker economy, high inflation, more expensive inputs and a changed climate. The changes we are experiencing are global movements that affect both the forest and the market," comments Södra's CEO Lotta Lyrå in the company's report for the second quarter.
