Södra’s sawmill segment goes into red in Q1/2023
The Swedish forest group Södra's result for the first year weakened. The operating profit almost halved to 1.1 billion SEK (just under 103 million euros), compared to the corresponding period last year. Turnover shrank by a couple of percent to 8 billion SEK. The weakening of the result is due to changes in the market for Södra's main products, the company says. The results weakened in all of the group's business areas.
