Weyerhaeuser expects higher lumber sales in Q1/2023
Weyerhaeuser Company reported fourth quarter net earnings of $11 million on net sales of $1.8 billion. This compares with net earnings of $416 million on net sales of $2.2 billion for the same period last year and net earnings of $310 million for the third quarter of 2022. Excluding a total after-tax charge of $160 million for special items, the company reported fourth quarter net earnings of $171 million.
