In November 2021, German forest owners increased their income from the sale of spruce logs by around 50%. Overall, producers' log prices in November were 30% higher than a year earlier.  However, sales prices for the German lumber industry in November 2021 were much higher than last year's prices: prices for softwood lumber, as well as other processed wood products, were up 72.5% from a year earlier.
