Covid-19 recovery brings rising sawlog prices in Russia
Sawlog prices in Russia have increased slightly in June 2020, indicating a recovery from the coronavirus lockdown months, when prices trended downwards. At an average of 2,669 RUB/m3 (29.67 EUR/m3) in June 2020, softwood sawlogs in Northwestern Russia have increased by 10% as compared to May but are 7% lower as compared to June 2019.
