Softwood logs exports from the EU to China doubled during Q1/2019
The total European softwood logs deliveries to China have went significantly up during the first quarter of the year, due to a boost in exports from Belgium, the Czech Republic and Germany. According to the latest Eurostat figures, during the mentioned period, EU's softwood logs exports to China increased by 110%, to 2,575,200 m3, from 1,225,953 m3, exported during January-March 2018. More than half of the logs came from Belgium, whose exports to China reached 1,293,125 m3, from from nearly nothing in the same period of last year ...
