Lumber prices in the US rapidly increase at the end of January
January closed with a bang as supply-side concerns ignited a rally that pushed many US framing lumber prices up sharply. Concerns were mostly focused on Western Canada, where producers have announced a number of temporary or permanent production curtailments amid tightened log supplies and higher costs.
