Germany: Price of wood pellets on the rise in November
During November 2018, the prices for wood pellets in Germany have risen sharply. Thus, the price increased by 1.8% as compared to October 2018 and by 6.4%, as compared to the same month in 2017. Now, wood pellets customers pay an average of EUR 254.36/tonne (6 tonnes purchases). One kilogram of pellets costs 25.44 cents and one kilowatt hour (kWh) of heat from pellets costs 5.09 cents.
