The wood pellets' price in Germany has started to descend in April 2018. The national average price has reached the value of EUR 252.25/tonne, 1.2% less than in March, but 2.5% more than in April 2017.  During the mentioned period, one kilogram of wood pellets costs 25.23 cents and one kilowatt hour (kWh) of heat from pellets costs 5.05 cents.
