Canada involves WTO in softwood lumber trade dispute with the US
Canada wants to persuade the World Trade Organization (WTO) to set up an adjudication panel for the judgment of the country's dispute with the US over Canadian lumber exports. Canada indicates that the US talks have failed. According to Global News, the country has submitted the request for a meeting of the WTO’s dispute settlement body on March 27.
