Value of Latvia’s sawn timber exports in first 11 months of 2017 drops 0.7% year-over-year to €560.0M
In the first eleven months of 2017, Latvia exported EUR 2.059 billion worth of forestry products, up 7 percent against the same period in 2016, according to data of the Latvian Agriculture Ministry. Timber and timber products made up the bulk or 84.6 percent (84.9 percent a year ago) of total forestry product exports in the first 11 months of 2017, accounting for EUR 1.742 billion and rising 6.6 percent year-on-year.
