Indian Greenply Industries showed optimism about organized players gaining market share in plywood and medium density fibre (MDF) post GST, during a recent analyst meet.  The company expects margin pressure in MDF segment, while operating leverage will benefit the plywood segment.  Greenply believes that GST implementation will reduce the price gap between organized and un-organized manufacturers, thereby resulting in shift to organized branded plywood players.
