New orders and plant deliveries have continued across the woodworking machinery sector over the past six months, despite subdued investment among furniture manufacturers. Panel production, sawmill modernisation and energy systems feature among the projects announced.
Raute secured EUR 31 million in contracts for Kohila Vineer’s plywood expansion in Estonia, while Dieffenbacher added particleboard and energy projects in Germany and Ireland. Other suppliers reported equipment shipments, repeat orders and completed installations across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
