
Last year, Germany’s biggest sawmills again raised their cutting volume. As to 2020, companies are optimistic, too, despite the current pandemic. Most of them want to keep volumes stable or further raise them. In 2019, German softwood sawmills with more than 50,000 m³ a year saw a further increase in cutting volumes compared to 2018.
